Armed Security Field Supervisor – Memphis Area
Description: Security Field Supervisors are responsible for overseeing the work of security guards and other security personnel. They ensure that their employees are performing their jobs correctly and in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards. Security Field Supervisors may also be tasked with recruiting new employees, training current staff on new procedures or equipment, and developing plans for future growth within their organization. They must also be able to effectively communicate with all levels of staff within their organization as well as clients.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day performance and appearance of security officers in the field.
- Training new officers, inspecting all sites, managing security officers in their area of responsibility, providing logistical support to maintain field operations, and developing client relationships.
- Providing rapid response in critical situations.
- Fill-in posts when needed.
- Assist with creating post orders.
Qualifications:
- All candidates will have to pass a criminal background check, as well as a drivers history check.
- Education: High school or equivalent (Required)
- Security: 5 years + (Required)
- Ideal candidates possess a minimum of 2 years of management experience.
- Armed Guard license and driver’s license (Required)
- Must be 25 or older with a good driving record to qualify
- Active Shooter Training (preferred)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule: working evenings, weekends and holidays as requested or required.
